An update from our Victoria Falls projects
April 17 2014

The Holiday Club at Monde Primary School in Victoria Falls is now in full swing and enjoyed a good turnout for the first session of the school break.  The Club is designed to be a good mix of learning and fun, with the children taking part in classes in mathematics, English and art, plus plenty of time for sports and outdoor games.

Meanwhile it’s not been a holiday for volunteers at the Dako community garden project.  Along with the usual digging, weeding and planting, they have also been learning how to carry water on their heads, as is traditional in rural areas. The volunteers enjoy working with project members to learn more about the culture and lifestyle of the local community.

You could volunteer on one of our community projects. Find out more details here.
