With Christmas just around the corner, students from both the Maunga and Natebe Kids Clubs have just had the perfect lesson!
The topic was how people in Western countries celebrate Christmas; from decorating their homes and Christmas trees, to writing letters to ‘Santa’. The children were fascinated to learn about the traditions involved in the festive season.
After the lesson, it was time for the students to put what they had learned into practice. They made and exchanged Christmas cards and were thrilled to receive Christmas gifts, donated by Lion Encounter volunteers.
A big thank you goes to all our volunteers who have made such generous donations. This kindness has gone a long way towards giving the Kids Club members a very memorable Christmas.
