Antelope Park volunteers have helped to make another Children's Review Day less stressful for those taking part; this time for children attending Mkoba Polyclinic in Gweru, Zimbabwe.
The review days are held to enable young children living with HIV the chance to receive age-appropriate counselling and support, as well as medication reviews from the clinical staff. Volunteers attend to provide a fun and energetic atmosphere for the children to alleviate some of the anxiety of the morning.
After the reviews were completed, the children and volunteers were split into teams of four and the fun began; first with a game of football, then sack races, skipping rope challenges and other games
The morning bought big smiles to the faces of the children, staff and volunteers alike.
