Thomas and his friends keep on learning
September 3 2013

‘Whether it’s a holiday or not, I love reading’. This was the wonderful response given by Thomas Kachama of Twabuka Reading Club when asked why he still was going to the club even though the schools are having a break.  Although children in Livingstone are currently on holiday, those that are members of the Reading Club are still continuing to attend the usual sessions at the primary school.  It is always encouraging to see students with such a strong desire to learn and to improve their ability.

Community volunteers are continuing to support the children during these sessions and enjoy working with those students who need extra help to achieve their potential.
