Antelope Park volunteers joined the staff from Mtapa Clinic and Africaid at their recent Children's Review Day for youngsters living with HIV.
After the children had finished their consultations, support group and medication reviews, came the part of the day they look forward to; the chance to play games with the volunteers, dance together and have their faces painted. A fun morning was had by all - staff and volunteers included.
Simba Munyunho, Africaid's Provincial Focal Officer, was grateful for this support: ‘Thank you so much for the positive atmosphere the volunteers created. They are wonderful. Your presence at Mtapa Clinic was a blessing to the kids and they enjoyed the morning greatly. We are also greatly appreciative for your support, as your services bring smiles to the faces of these children who are living with HIV. The activities you carry out make the environment very friendly for the children and encourage them to take their medication. Thank you again’.
