The four C`s of Chundu, Chisa, Chobe and Chete are safely back at AP, They arrived the night of the third at about 1230 am. Chobe was the reason they were so delayed, as the team had trouble loading into her travel box because she decided to hide up a tree for a long time. They tried to put the females in first with no luck and then decided to go for the males. Once Chobe saw this she was scared and it took an additional six hours to convince her to come down from the tree.  This postponed the vehicle travelling back until the next day. After a period to settle in the 4C's will start night encounters.

Chobe 4Cs arrive at AP

Last night the MK's of Moyo, Mara, Meeka and Kali were on the prowl on a night encounter during which they successfully caught and killed a white-tailed mongoose.  It's the largest in the mongoose family; over a metre in length and weighing over 4kg.
