Learning is fun at the Holiday Club
April 3 2013

The school holidays may have now begun at Monde Primary School, but the work of our community volunteers is far from over.

The Holiday Club, which runs on Mondays and Fridays during the school break, is offered to children from grade 4 up to grade 7.  On the first day, volunteers were greeted by at least 30 smiling faces of very eager students.  The children had chosen to spend their days off learning and were promised a whole lot of fun while doing it.  Two hours of Maths and English lessons were followed by a short break and then there was fun on the sports field with the children playing different games to help their co-ordination and ball skills.

All in all it was a great day of fun and learning; the first of many throughout the holiday period.
